C-Section

1337
The year of what is now considered the earliest documented case of a successful C-section according to a recent discovery by Czech researchers. Beatrice of Bourbon, the second wife of John the Blind, King of Bohemia and Count of Luxembourg, was thought to be dead while in labour. Surgeons opened her only to save and baptise the child. Both mother and child survived!
