Number of rain gauges installed by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC). These gauges are key inputs for KSNDMC's Integrated Dam Management system and rainfall data and the water levels in the dams are shared every 15 minutes during the monsoon season. Manoj Rajan, Director, KSNDMC, told The New Indian Express that real time well synchronised data sharing of dam management is happening by using technology to ensure that there are no untoward incidents.
