Estimated number of families in Raichur district, who have Below Poverty Level (BPL) cards, that have not collected their ration since three months because they are simply not in their villages anymore. A majority of these families are farmers or work as agricultural labourers and have been compelled to leave their villages for cities such as Bengaluru and Mumbai due to severe drought conditions.
