    Starting this date, BMC will start implementing a 10% cut in water supply due to "insufficient rainfall and insufficient water stock in the 7 dams & lakes that supply water to Mumbai Metropolitan City". This 10% water cut will also be applicable to areas in Thane and Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation which receive water supply from BMC.
