Sewage Treatment Capacity of Bhairoba STP. The plant is located at Koregaon park. The process used in this plant is activated sludge process followed by anaerobic digestion. The gas generated in the digester is useful for power generation & the treated water is presently used for irrigation. Sewage generated from Kondhwa, Vanawadi, Kalyaninagar, Dhanori, Vimannagar, Kalas, Vishrantwadi and Ghorapadi etc. area is treated in this plant. Total area served is about 82.00 sq. kms. The cost of the project was Rs. 37.50 crores and the plant is functioning since July 2003.

Sewage Treatment Capacity of Naidu STP. The plant is located near Naidu Hospital. The sewage generated from the central part of the city is collected at Kasba pumping station & then treated in this STP. The process used in this plant is activated sludge process followed by anaerobic digestion. The new plant of 115 MLD is proposed in the same premises .

Sewage Treatment Capacity of Erandwane STP. The plant is located near Mhatre Bridge. The process used in this plant is modified activated sludge process followed by aerobic digestion. Aeration with the help of diffusers & settling with the help of inclined tube settlers are the salient features of this plant. The sewage from Erandwana, Kothrud, Warje, Karvenagar, Paud Road, Karve Road etc. area is treated in this plant. Total area served is about 26.15 sq. kms. The cost of the project was Rs. 11.12 crores and the plant is functioning since Dec 2004.

Sewage Treatment Capacity of Bopadi STP. The plant is located near Harris Bridge, Bopodi. The extended aeration process is used to treat the waste water. The sewage generated from Aundh ITI, Aundhgaon, Sindh Colony, Bopodi, and Bopodi Gaothan, NCL, Raj Bhavan etc. area is treated in this plant. The sump well and pump house is constructed at Botanical garden in Aundh, and a pipeline carries the sewage up to the Bopodi Sewage Treatment Plant. The treated waste water is discharged in Mula River. Total area served is about 15 sq. kms. The cost of the project was Rs. 5.69 crores and the plant is functioning since June 2003.

Sewage Treatment Capacity of Tanajiwadi STP. Two stage biological process is used in this plant, i.e. Bio towers and aeration tank with diffused aeration system. The sewage generated from Model Colony, Shivajinagar, Janwadi, Gokhale Nagar and Ganesh Khind area is treated in this plant. Total area served is about 18 sq. kms. The cost of the project was Rs. 7.43 crores and the plant is functioning since April 2004.
