Nagarjuna Dam. At 97.92% of its full capacity of 88,363 million litres, compared to 98.19% at the same time last year. The dam, built across the Krishna river, is situated on the border of Nalgonda district in Telangana and Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. The dam provides irrigation water to the Nalgonda, Suryapet, Krishna, Khammam, West Godavari, Guntur and Prakasam districts along with hydro electricity generation. Inflow today: 15,018 cusecs. Outflow today: 6,740 cusecs.

Dr. KLRS Pulichintala Dam. At 71.75% of its full capacity of 12,961 million litres, compared to 98.97% at the same time last year. The project is a multipurpose project serving irrigation needs, a 120 MW hydro power generation and flood control. It is a crucial irrigation facility for farmers in 4 coastal districts of West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam covering 13 lakh acres. Inflow today: 39,868 cusecs. Outflow today: 45,628 cusecs.

Somasila Dam. At 79.51% of its full capacity of 22,087 million litres, compared to 58.51% at the same time last year. A major water body in the Nellore district, water from the reservoir is used to irrigate 9.25 lakh acres of land. It is the main source of drinking water for Kavali municipality of nearly 1.2 lakh population. Inflow today: 19,324 cusecs. Outflow today: 10,019 cusecs.

Sriram Sagar Dam (aka Pochampadu Dam) Dam. At 98.78% of its full capacity of 25,573 million litres, compared to 0.00% at the same time last year. Built across the Godavari river in Telangana it serves irrigational needs in Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts. It also provides drinking water to Warangal city. There is a hydroelectric plant working at the dam site, with 4 turbines each with 9 MW capacity generating 36 MW.
