The dam is the primary source of water supply for the region’s major industries in Aurangabad and Jalna, as well as to nearly 2.5 lakh hectares of farmland.

माजलगाव / Majalgaon Dam - Beed. At 16.88% of its full capacity of 311,000 million litres, compared to 19.98% at the same time last year. The dam supplies drinking water to Beed and Majalgaon among other nearby areas. If the live storage goes above 30%, water is used to 93,885 hectares of land in Majalgaon and Parli talukas in Beed district, Gangakhed and Sonpeth in Parbhnai district and few areas in Nanded district. Tertiary purpose is to supply water to the thermal power station at Parli.

मांजरा / Manjara Dam - Beed. At 18.25% of its full capacity of 176,960 million litres, compared to 0.00% at the same time last year. The dam provides multipurpose benefits of irrigation, drinking water supply, flood control and hydropower generation. The reservoir is a source of water for Amravati city, and Morshi and Warud Talukas.

Siddeshwar Dam - Hingoli. At 0.00% of its full capacity of 81,000 million litres, compared to 32.76% at the same time last year.

येलदरी / Yeldari Dam - Hingoli. At 56.50% of its full capacity of 810,000 million litres, compared to 60.68% at the same time last year.

Lower Manar Dam - Nanded. At 16.32% of its full capacity of 276,000 million litres, compared to 46.90% at the same time last year.

Lower Terna Dam - Osmanabad. At 45.37% of its full capacity of 91,220 million litres, compared to 5.53% at the same time last year.

Sina Kolegaon Dam - Osmanabad. At 6.30% of its full capacity of 76,000 million litres, compared to 0.00% at the same time last year.

Lower Dudhana Dam - Parbhani. At 52.12% of its full capacity of 242,000 million litres, compared to 0.00% at the same time last year.
