गोसीखुद / Gosikhurd Dam - Bhandara. At 70% of its live capacity of 740,000 million litres, compared to 61% at the same time last year. Incessant rain in parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and discharge of water from Rajivsagar dam in Madhya Pradesh and Gosikhurd dam in Bhandara have resulted in flooding in east Vidarbha. Kamthi Khairy Dam (aka Pench Dam) - Nagpur. At 98% of its live capacity of 142,000 million litres, compared to 98% at the same time last year. Located inside the Pench Tiger Reserve, the dam provides 70% of drinking water to Nagpur city. राज्यात सर्वत्र सुरू झालेल्या पावसामुळे बळीराजा सुरूवातीला सुखावला होता, मात्र पाऊस अजूनही थांबण्याचं नावच घेत नसल्यानं आता तो चिंताग्रस्त झाला आहे. नागपुर जिल्ह्यात तोतलडोह धरणाचे एकूण 14 दरवाजे तर पेंच नावेगाव खैरी धरणाचे 16 दारं उघडण्यात आले आहे.

First overflow of the season on 22 Aug. 4 of 14 gates of Totladoh (Pench) dam were opened on Sat (22 Aug) and then the very next day, all 14 gates were opened (as seen in the photo). This means there would be no shortage of raw water for one year especially in next summer.

वडगाव / Wadgaon Dam - Nagpur. At 98% of its live capacity of 135,000 million litres, compared to 97% at the same time last year. Provides water to the Mihan-SEZ. Solar Floater modules were mounted at the dam via a Tech Mahindra initaitve. The solar-generated power will be used to pump water from the dam to the nearby farming lands.
