Rs. 73/kg. Against the normal supply of around 22,000 quintals a day at this time of the year, the market is presently getting around 5,000 quintals daily from the onion growers of Nashik. The supply of kharif onions to Lasalgaon mandi — the country’s biggest wholesale market — remains sluggish and is expected to normalise only in the January next year.
