Big Rivers Electric Corp shut down 2 units of its Henderson Municipal Power and Light (HMPL) Sebree station in western Kentucky on 01 Feb. Jennifer Keach, a spokesperson for Big Rivers Electric Corporation, told WFIE-TV the plant was no longer economical to operate. Around 60 jobs will be affected.

Dominion Energy (subsidiary of Virginia Electric & Power Co) shut down Unit 3 (97.5 MW) and Unit 4 (162.5 MW) of its Chesterfield Power Station located in Chester county, VA. The units were shutdown in Mar 2019.
