Launch of scheme to provide safe & pure, clean drinking water on 24X7 basis to people living in rural areas of the state. The scheme envisages use of solar powered systems for pumping, purification and distribution of water. The scheme is being implemented by Chhattisgarh Renewable Development Agency (CREDA).

Height at which the water tank is fitted, so that water can be distributed through gravity alone, without need of additional motors for pumping water. Each such tank can feed into a network of pipes and taps that range from 4 to 20, installed in schools, cluster of homes or key locations within the village.
