Hirakud Dam. At 99.03% of its full capacity of 4,821,550 million litres, compared to 81.09% at the same time last year. Hirakud dam provides irrigation to 1,55,635 hectare of kharif and 1,08,385 ha of rabi irrigation in the districts of Sambalpur, Bargarh, Bolangir and Subarnapur.

Rengali Dam. At 91.45% of its full capacity of 3,413,710 million litres, compared to 94.69% at the same time last year. Due to record rainfall received since 11 Sep, water has exceeded the Full Reservoir Level of 123.91 meters on 18 Sep.

Balimela Dam. At 44.21% of its full capacity of 2,676,000 million litres, compared to 100.00% at the same time last year.

Machhkund Dam. At 56.85% of its full capacity of 969,930 million litres, compared to 85.50% at the same time last year.

Upper Kolab Dam. At 40.96% of its full capacity of 935,000 million litres, compared to 94.57% at the same time last year.

Indravati Dam. At 30.44% of its full capacity of 1,485,500 million litres, compared to 89.85% at the same time last year.

Salandi Dam. At 71.21% of its full capacity of 556,500 million litres, compared to 93.40% at the same time last year.
