Upper Wardha Dam - Amravati. At 96.59% of its full capacity of 564,050 million litres, compared to 98.20% at the same time last year. The dam provides multipurpose benefits of irrigation, drinking water supply, flood control and hydropower generation. The reservoir is a source of water for Amravati city, and Morshi and Warud Talukas.
